So with the recent British Forces update, I can no longer download any mods from the Steam workshop because for some strange reason the download location changed for the mod files. What I mean by this is that the mods files (.sga files) are usually downloaded to the common/Company of Heroes 2. Currently, we only support Steam. Make sure you own Terraria on Steam, and install the vanilla game. You need to have ran the game at least once.
Go to our releases page, and download the version you want. Generally, you will just want the latest version.
Steam Mods Manual Download
You need to browse to your Terraria folder in your explorer window. Usually this is located in C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonTerraria but this location can change based on your installation.
You can also do this via the Steam application. Find Terraria in your library, right click it and open the Properties window. Navigate to the 'Local files' tab and click 'Browse local files'
How To Find Mods On Steam
Right click the downloaded .zip, and go to Properties. Make sure to hit unblock if it says so at the bottom. If this does not appear, close the window.
Extract the contents of the .zip to where you download it. You can use applications such as Peazip or 7zip to do this, Windows 10 should also be able to do this by itself.
Now select all the extracted files and copy all of them to the Terraria folder you located. Make sure to let it overwrite files when it asks.
